The Powerball jackpot is continually climbing, now at $264 million for the next drawing.

Saturday, Aug. 19 will mark the next Powerball drawing, which will take place at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. Notably, you must purchase your ticket(s) before the 9:59 p.m. ET deadline on the night of drawings.

The last Powerball drawing that took place this past Wednesday went without a jackpot winner, as numbers 9, 1, 17, 19, and 55 get selected, along with 1 in the red Powerball slot.

Powerball drawings occur every week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. If you’d like to see the results, you may watch on your local TV news station. See below:

Alternatively, you always have the option of viewing Powerball results on the PA Lottery website. Or, feel free to download the mobile app to check results and play games on the go.

You must be at least 18 years of age and physically located in the state of Pennsylvania to play lottery games online and collect prizes.

There is a process to claim a prize that you win from PA Lottery games, but it isn’t very difficult. In many cases, your prize will be automatically paid to your Lottery account and you can request a withdrawal using a variety of methods.

If your prize is worth $600 or more, you must fill out and submit a Claim Form. Meanwhile, prizes of $2,500 or more can only be paid by the Lottery itself. You may choose to mail a completed Claim Form along with your signed ticket to the address on the form. Or, you can claim your ticket in person at a local Lottery Area Office.

Standard Powerball tickets cost $2 a piece, but you always have the option to select the Power Play add-on feature for $1 more per ticket.

This will give you the opportunity to multiply any non-jackpot prize that you may possibly win.

A number (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10) will be drawn just prior to the regular Powerball drawing—this will be your Power Play number. Any prize won that isn’t a jackpot will be multiplied by the Power Play number that was selected.
