Get your tickets now for the current $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot, which will be up for grabs this Saturday.
There have been just two jackpots bigger than the current one in the multi-decade history of Powerball. This historic drawing will occur on Saturday, October 7 at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The Powerball jackpot increased from $1.2 billion to the current figure after last Wednesday’s draw went without a winner. White balls 9, 35, 54, 63, and 64 were selected, along with 1 in the red Powerball slot.

Powerball tickets can be purchased in a few different ways. We feel that the easiest method is to buy them online via the Pennsylvania lottery website.
Otherwise, you can go out to one of your local lottery retailers. These locations can include gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores.
A standard Powerball ticket will cost you $2, but many people decide to participate in the Power Play add-on feature, which costs an additional $1 per ticket.
Playing the Powerball is not very difficult, especially once you play a couple of times. You will begin by choosing five different numbers from 1 to 69, as well as one extra number from 1 to 26 — your Powerball selection.
If you would prefer to not pick your own numbers, you can elect to let the terminal randomly select your numbers for you using the Quick Pick tool.
As stated before, there is a Power Play add-on available each time you buy a ticket. Taking part in the Power Play will increase any non-jackpot prize that you may receive. A separate number (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10) will be drawn prior to the regular drawing—the Power Play figure.
Notably, Pennsylvania residents can view the results of a Powerball draw here or on their local TV news station. View below:
