Powerball jackpot at $345 million for Saturday, Aug. 26 drawing
The next Powerball drawing scheduled for this Saturday will feature a hefty jackpot of $345 million.
Powerball drawings occur every week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. Notably, the cut-off to purchase your ticket(s) is exactly one hour prior to drawings.
This past Wednesday, we saw numbers 25, 30, 32, 33, and 55 get selected, along with 20 in the red Powerball slot.
For those of you who took part in the Double Play drawing, white balls 18, 25, 38, 56, and 61 get chosen, as well as 19 in the red Powerball slot.
If you’d like to view the results of the upcoming Powerball drawing, or past ones, you have a few ways of going about that. First, you may visit the PA Lottery website. Second, you may download the PA Lottery app, and third, you can watch on your local TV news station.

Playing PA Lottery games and winning prizes requires you to be 18 years of age or older and physically located within the state.
Playing the Powerball requires you to first select five numbers from 1 to 70 and one
number from 1 to 25, which will be your Powerball selection. Or, you always have the choice to allow the terminal to pick your numbers using the Quick Pick tool.
Standard Powerball tickets cost $2, but you have the option to play the Power Play add-on feature for another $1 per ticket. The Power Play grants you the opportunity to multiple any non-jackpot prize that you may win.
A number (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10) will be drawn immediately before the regular Powerball drawing—the Power Play number. If you win a prize that isn’t the jackpot, it will be multiplied by the Power Play that was selected.
See how the Power Play affects prizes below:
For starters, your Powerball prize will oftentimes be automatically paid to your PA Lottery account if you have an online profile.
However, prizes of $600 and over need to be claimed with a Claim Form, which can be obtained in one of three ways:
- The PA Lottery website
- A PA Lottery retailer
- A PA Lottery Area Office
Prizes up to $2,500 may be claimed at a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer, but anything more than $2,500 needs to be paid by the Lottery itself.
Either mail a completed Claim Form along with their signed ticket to the address on the form, or claim the prize in person at a Lottery Area Office.1` .
Again, the current Powerball jackpot is positioned at $345 million ahead of the next drawing on Saturday, Aug. 26 at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. Remember to purchase your ticket(s) before the 9:59 p.m. ET deadline.
