LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The state's Occupational Safety and Health Administration is looking into reports that air conditioning isn't working properly at a Las Vegas hotel and casino.

Teri Williams, a spokesperson for the Nevada Department of Business and Industry, confirmed they have received complaints regarding the temperature at OYO Hotel & Casino.

The agency "is looking into the situation to validate the allegations and ensure the employer is taking appropriate measures to resolve the issue," Williams said in an email. "No formal investigation has been opened at this time."

A representative for OYO did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

Las Vegas is experiencing scorching heat this week. The National Weather Service said the temperature at Harry Reid International Airport reached 120 degrees on Sunday, the hottest temperature ever recorded there.
