Wild Casino

The current $1.2 billion Powerball jackpot is a historic figure—and it will be able to be won in Wednesday night’s drawing.

It’s rare that a Powerball jackpot elevates to over the $1 billion mark. In fact, the current figure is the third biggest in Powerball history.

Drawings occur each week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. You may purchase your ticket(s) either online on the MI Lottery website or at a local retailer.

Notably, both in-store and online ticket sales for the current draw are available until 9:45 p.m. ET on the night of the draw.

You may easily view the results of a Powerball drawing on the MI Lottery website or downloadable mobile app. Otherwise, Michigan residents can watch via their local TV news station. See below:

  • Detroit: WDIV-TV 4 (NBC)

You are required to be over the age of 18 to participate in lottery games and win prizes online in Michigan. Those who are interested in signing up for an MI sportsbook should know that the minimum age is 21 for sports betting.

The current Powerball jackpot is the third largest in the game’s 30-plus year history. Below, you can check out the five biggest prizes ever:

Once you decide where you are going to purchase your Powerball ticket(s), you can either choose your own numbers or allow the terminal to randomly select your numbers using the Quick Pick tool.

Electing to pick your own numbers requires you to choose five numbers from 1 to 69 and another number from 1 to 26, which will serve as your Powerball number.

The final thing to know is that a standard Powerball ticket costs $2, but you may take part in the Power Play add-on feature for an additional $1 per ticket.

This feature grants you the chance to multiply any non-jackpot prize that you may receive. A separate number (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10) will be chosen before the regular numbers draw—this is your Power Play figure.

Any prize that you win, except for the jackpot, will be multiplied by the Power Play figure that was drawn.
