Mega Millions jackpot nears $1 billion ahead of next drawing
The Mega Millions jackpot is approaching $1 billion in the lead-up to Friday night’s drawing. Get your ticket(s) today to have a chance at the $910 million prize.
Tuesday’s drawing saw white balls 3, 5, 6, 44, and 61 get picked along with 25 in the Mega Ball slot and 4 in the Megaplier slot.
Mega Millions number drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Importantly, the cut-off time to purchase your ticket(s) is 9:59 p.m. ET.

Standard Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play, but you always have the option to play the Megaplier feature for an additional $1. The Megaplier is like the Power Play in Powerball, it gives you the chance to increase your winnings for all prize levels except the jackpot.

A separate number from 2 to 5 will be drawn just before the regular Mega Millions drawing—this is the Megaplier number. Your non-jackpot prize will then be multiplied by the Megaplier number that was drawn.
