NH Powerball Jackpot Jumps to $400 Million for Saturday Night’s Drawing
The Powerball jackpot continues to climb as the New Hampshire Lottery projects Saturday night’s (4/23) jackpot will rise to $400 million. The New Hampshire Lottery estimates the one-time cash payout will increase to $240.8 million for the Saturday night drawing. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“As Powerball marks its 30th anniversary this week, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a $400 million jackpot!” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “Retailers across the state are reporting strong ticket sales and online sales are robust going into Saturday night’s drawing as everyone wants a chance at that $400 million prize, so go get your tickets now!”
Powerball drawing results from Wednesday, April 20, were: 20-30-45-55-56 PB-14 with a Power Play of 2.
The Powerball jackpot has been growing since February 14, when a winning $185.3 million ticket was sold in Connecticut. There have been 29 straight drawings without a winner.
Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 PM.
