Strong sales nationwide have pushed the Powerball jackpot $35 million higher to an estimated $610 million for Wednesday night's drawing. 

Originally projected at $575 million after no one won it all in Monday's drawing, the jackpot kept climbing and is the seventh-largest Powerball jackpot ever. The cash option will be $434.2 million, according to the lottery website.

“We’re thrilled to offer players a jackpot that has hit the $600 million mark,” May Scheve Reardon, Powerball Product Group Chair, said in a statement. 

While no one won Monday's full jackpot, three million-dollar tickets matched all five white balls, according to lottery officials. Two tickets sold in Connecticut and Texas won $1 million, while a ticket in Montana had the Powerplay to win $2 million, according to the website.

Monday's winning numbers were 2, 13, 32, 33, 48 and Powerball 22.  

Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. EST. Drawings can be viewed live at powerball.com/watch-drawing.

The last Powerball jackpot winner was drawn on Oct. 4, with a single winning ticket worth $699.8 million purchased in a California grocery store.

Choose five numbers 1 to 69 and one number 1 to 26 to be your Powerball. To win the Powerball jackpot, match the six numbers on your ticket to the drawn six-number combination (five numbers plus the Powerball).
