LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada casinos continued to rake in the dough in September.
The state's nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total gaming win of $1.27 billion for the month, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
That's an increase of about 1.7% compared to the same month last year, when the win revenue was nearly $1.25 billion, and up from the gaming win of $1.2 billion reported the month prior in August.
It's also the 31st straight month that casinos in Nevada collected at least $1 billion in gaming win.
The Las Vegas Strip largely fueled the boost. Casinos on the Strip collected $741.2 million last month, up nearly 7% from September 2022.
Nevada ultimately collected $77.6 million in percentage fees based on the taxable revenue generated in September.
