LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The gaming win on the Las Vegas Strip surged in November in conjunction with the arrival of Formula One.
Nevada's non-restricted gaming licensees reported a win revenue of about $1.37 billion, per new figures from the state's Gaming Control Board.
That's up nearly 12.6% compared to November a year ago, though it falls short of the monthly record of $1.4 billion set in July earlier this year.
Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip fueled virtually the entire jump in November. They made up $821 million of the gaming win, an increase of more than 22.6% from the year-ago month.
Nevada ultimately collected $85.4 million in percentage fees based on the taxable revenue generated in November, according to the Gaming Control Board.
