Nevada, Las Vegas Strip gaming wins dip in March
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The gaming win took a dip in Nevada and on the Las Vegas Strip last month, according to new figures released Thursday.
The statewide win revenue for nonrestricted gaming licensees in March was $1.29 billion, per the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
That's down about 1.65% from March last year, when the gaming win was $1.31 billion.
It's also down , when Nevada casinos had a $1.34 billion gaming win.
On the Las Vegas Strip, casinos had a gaming win of $715.9 million, down about 1.2% from the year-ago month.
Overall, Nevada collected $86.45 million in percentage fees based on the taxable revenue generated in March.
