May 7 soft launch for the Nustar Resort and Casino

Universal Hotels and Resorts Incorporated is planning to ramp up gaming operations within its Nustar Resort and Casino over the course of the next few months. The north wing of this venue was recently premiered two weeks ago. It is expected to be the largest gaming floor in central and southern Philippines.
Universal Hotels and Resorts Incorporated broke ground on the $517 million Nustar Resort and Casino in August of 2018. The construction was delayed due to the appearance of the coronavirus pandemic. It was soft launched on May 7 to take advantage of Philippines' official re-opening to international travelers.
The Nustar Resort and Casino opened earlier this month offering only three of its planned 40 restaurants.
Trevor Hammond is the Vice-President for Universal Hotels and Resorts Incorporated. He is responsible for the development of the Nustar Resort and Casino. The resort and gaming operations are to be managed by his company, Robinsons Hotel and Resort, while the beverage, food and hospitality services are overseen by Robin's Hotelties.
