Station Casino Durango construction commences

Red Rock Resorts Incorporated has commenced construction on a new $750 million facility for the southwestern suburbs of Las Vegas. The coming Station Casino Durango is now set to take shape on 71-acre parcel of land situated at the junction of South Durago Drive and Bruce Woodbury Beltway in the commuter community of Spring Valley.

Red Rock Resorts Incorporated hopes to open its new Station Casino Durango by the summer of 2024. The venue will be a resort with a 211-room hotel and a 70,000 sq ft casino offering 46 gaming tables and over 2,00 slots. It will also have a modern sportsbook, four full-service food and beverage outlets and approximately 20, 000 sqft of meeting and conference space.

Station Casino Durango construction has started. Steve Cooley, Chief Financial Officer for Red Rock Resorts Incorporated, revealed the estimated cost of the development to be $750 million. Some of this money will be paid for by selling 23 acres of unused Spring Valley land for $24 million to a private developer. The finished venue is expected to bring in a mid-teens-plus return.

Station Casino Durango construction has started. Red Rock Resorts Inc. sold Palms Casino Resort to San Manuel Band of Mission Indians for $650 million. North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians resolved all of its outstanding federal legal hurdles to bring optimism to a plan to operate a new tribal casino on 305 acres of land near Madera.

Red Rock Resorts Inc. returned $700 million to shareholders over the course of the fourth quarter. The company also recorded record-high quarterly adjusted earnings and margins.

Red Rock Resorts Incorporated spent $26.4 million on capital expenditures in the three months to the end of December and $61.3 million for the whole of 2021. Cooley predicts the company could spend as much as $500 million this year on maintenance and growth projects. This money would be used for Station Casino Durango development.
