Thursday premiere for Resorts World Las Vegas
Genting Malaysia Berhad is reportedly set to begin welcoming guests to its new Resorts World Las Vegas property from 11 am PDT today. The 3,500-room venue was built on 87 acres of Las Las Vegas Strip land previously owned by Boyd Gaming Corporation.
Genting Malaysia Berhad is planning to open its $4.3 billion Resorts World Las Vegas. The casino will be 17,000 sq ft, with 1,400 slots, a sportsbook and 117 gaming tables. It will also have 300,00 sq. ft of meeting space, 22 shops, restaurants, an in-house spa and fitness center, and a 5,500-seat arena. Celine Dion will perform in the arena on Thursday.
Hilton Worldwide Holdings Incorporated inked a deal with Genting Malaysia Berhad in February of last year to develop a trio of hotels under the Hilton, Crockfords and Conrad names. The facilities are to offer rooms ranging in size from 550 sq ft up to a massive 7,000 sqft and featuring specially-commissioned artwork and around-the-clock butler services.
Genting Malaysia Berhad signed an alliance with GamingPlay earlier this month. Resorts World Las Vegas guests will be able to place wagers on casino games via the use of a digital wallet.
