The second largest Megabucks Doubler jackpot could be won this weekend.
The jackpot for the Saturday night drawing is at $13.2 million. Tickets cost $1 each and can only be purchased in Massachusetts until 9 p.m. Saturday.
The last time a Megabucks Doubler jackpot was won was on March 20, 2021. The ticket, sold in Fairhaven, won the buyer $10.04 million. The largest Megabucks Doubler jackpot, however, was won on March 10, 2012. It was for $13.82 million.
Another large jackpot could be won Friday in a nation-wide lottery game.
The Mega Millions drawing is for $400 million with the cash option being an estimated $231.7 million.
The last time someone won the Mega Millions drawing was on April 15. A ticket sold in Tennessee won the $20 million jackpot. The $400 million jackpot is also the game’s largest since January 28, when a $421 million jackpot was won on a ticket sold in California.
Mega Millions tickets are $2 each and can be purchased until 10:45 p.m. Friday. The drawing will then be at 11 p.m.
There is no broadcast partner in Massachusetts, however. Instead, those interested can see the drawn numbers appear on the Mega Millions website or watch online through the game’s YouTube channel.
