Anyone win Mega Millions Tuesday, July 25, 2023? $910 million jackpot
Will a $2 Mega Millions ticket make you a mega millionaire? And what's up with the number 25?
A week after the Powerball jackpot finally hit $1 billion after months of rollovers, Mega Millions seems to be on that same track.
No one matched all six numbers in the Tuesday, July 25, drawing for $820 million, so the jackpot rolled over to $910 million overnight. For those keeping track, the huge increase is similar to that of last week: After no one matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball in the Friday, July 21, drawing, the jackpot climbed $100 million to a whopping $820 million overnight. And the jackpot will climb again, moving it up a few spots on the Top 10 biggest Mega Millions jackpots of all time and is so close to landing on the Top 10 largest lottery jackpots in the U.S. (see below).
Tuesday, July 25, numbers were 3-5-6-44-61 and the Mega Ball was 25. Megaplier was 4x. Though we have yet another rollover, there were two big winners. There was one Match 5 winner from Maryland for a ticket worth $1 million, a ticket from Texas that matched all five numbers except for the Mega Ball, and added the Megaplier worth $4 million.
In case you're wondering, the Friday, July 21, numbers were 29-40-47-50-57 and the Mega Ball was 25. Megaplier was 2x. By the way, you read that correctly − the Mega Ball was 25 for July 21 and July 25. The Mega Ball was 25 on July 25. Coincidence? Number pattern? We may never know.
Mega Millions drawings are held at 11 p.m. EST Tuesdays and Fridays.
