The Mega Millions jackpot hit over half a billion during national Lottery week.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday has risen to an estimated $530 million with a $304.7 cash option, the largest jackpot since Jan. 22, 2021, when a $1.05 billion jackpot was won on a ticket sold in Michigan.

The Mega Millions drawing will be at 11 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 17. Mega Millions tickets are $2 each and can be purchased up until 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at Mass Lottery retailers throughout the state.

The last time someone won the Mega Millions drawing was on April 15. A ticket sold in Tennessee won the $20 million jackpot.

Wednesday night’s Megabucks Doubler’s jackpot inched ever so close to a record-high winning with a $13.7 million jackpot, the game’s second-largest jackpot since it launched in April of 2009.

The largest Megabucks Doubler jackpot ever hit was $13.82 million, won on March 10, 2012, from a drawing ticket sold in Wakefield.

The last time a Megabucks Doubler’s jackpot was won was on March 20, 2021. The ticket, sold in Fairhaven, won the buyer $10.04 million.

Megabucks tickets cost $1 each and can only be purchased in Massachusetts until 9 p.m. Wednesday.

There is no broadcast partner in Massachusetts, however. Instead, those interested can see the drawn numbers appear on the Mega Millions website or watch online through the game’s YouTube channel.
