Russey Keo Unity Command crackdown on internet gambling

The forces of the Russey Keo District Administrative Unity Command raided another online gambling location as the District Governor continues to push for a clean up and end to gambling activities and other illicit business in Russey Keo.
The Unity Command Force, under the leadership of Russey Keo Ek Khun Doeun, carried out a raid to crackdown on an illegal online gambling location on February 19. The authorities carried out the raid in Sangkat Svay Pak, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh.
During the raid, police arrested eight men and five women. The authorities seized 17 computers, motorcycles, printers and televisions, as well as money. The district authorities brought the suspects and evidence to the police inspectorate.
This comes on the heels, of Governor Khun Doeun calls for the strengthening of district security and Covid-19 prevention measures. The Governor pushed other governors in the capital city to strengthen crackdown on gambling, especially online gambling, to boost security and social order.
