Boring Co. has been working in Las Vegas for a while. Its mission is to solve traffic, enable rapid point-to-point transportation and transform cities.
Boring Co. has been building a tunnel system under Las Vegas. The first tunnel is a proof of concept, but the full plan is to connect the convention center to all the major casinos on the Las Las Vegas Strip and the Harry Reid Airport. Las vegans city council approved a plan to expand the underground tunnel network to include downtown Fremont Street area.
The Las Vegas City Council has approved five downtown stops for the Vegas Loop tunnel network. The downtown expansion will begin at some point in 2023. The tunnels will be 34 miles long and include 55 stations. They will connect the Strip, Fremont Street Experience, the Slotzilla attraction, and the Garage Mahal at the Circa Resort.
