Eight nabbed in gambling raid

KUALA LUMPUR: Eight men were detained during a raid on an illegal online gambling den along Jalan Landak off Jalan Pudu.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya said the suspects were arrested at about 4.30pm on Friday.
The suspects were five locals and three foreigners, aged between 24 and 70.
“We seized an array of items including 12 tablets, three mobile phones, as well as a router and a modem.
“Initial investigations showed the five locals were customers while the three foreigners were workers,” he said.
