Brian Kurtz new manager at Rocky Gap Casino Resort

ROCKY GAP — Brian Kurtz, a hospitality industry veteran, has been named senior vice president and general manager of Rocky Gap Casino Resort by Golden Entertainment Inc., based in Las Vegas.

“Brian has been a valued member of the Golden Entertainment team for nearly a decade and brings a vast depth of experience in the hospitality industry to this integral role,” said Blake Sartini II, executive vice president of operations at Golden Entertainment. “We are confident that he will continue to propel the Rocky Gap brand forward with his strategic vision for guest care and resort operations.”

Kurtz oversees resort operations to ensure that all team members have the training, knowledge and resources to be successful in delivering exceptional service to guests. He is responsible for delivering sustainable and healthy returns for the property.

A Maryland native, Kurtz joined Golden Entertainment at Rocky Gap in 2012, where he served as director of food and beverage and director of resort operations. He moved up within Golden Entertainment and moved to Las Vegas in 2018 as vice president of food and beverage at Arizona Charlie’s casinos and the following year was promoted to assistant general manager. Prior to Golden Entertainment, Kurtz was director of food and beverage within the Crestline Hotels & Resorts properties.
