Cordish promotes Bryan Prettyman to Senior VP of Property Operations ahead of Live! Casino Louisiana launch

Cordish Gaming Group, the gaming division of The Cordish Companies, has announced the promotion of Bryan Prettyman to Senior Vice President of Property Operations for the forthcoming Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana. Anticipated to debut in Bossier City in early 2025, the $270+ million property will provide gaming, dining, hotel, and entertainment.
In his new role, Prettyman will spearhead operational strategies aimed at positioning Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana "as the premier gaming and entertainment hub in the Shreveport-Bossier market." His responsibilities will encompass overseeing all aspects of non-gaming resort operations, including hotel management, food and beverage services, security, environmental services, and facility management.
With a career spanning over 36 years in the gaming and resort industries, Prettyman brings a wealth of leadership experience from properties across several states, including New Jersey, Mississippi, California, Illinois, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Louisiana. He most recently served as Vice President of Slots and Marketing at Live! Casino Pittsburgh.
Before joining Live! Casino, Prettyman served as Senior Marketing Leader at Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Oklahoma, contributing to its growth into one of the largest casino resort operations in the United States. Throughout his career, Prettyman has earned numerous accolades, including recognition from the American Gaming Association and awards for marketing campaigns.

The Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana projectis expected to generate 750 new construction jobs and 750 permanent roles in gaming and hospitality, contributing roughly $34 million in salaries, wages, and tips. Upon its opening, Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana will unveil over 47,000 square feet of gaming space, featuring more than 1,000 slot machines and 40 live-action table games. The property will also include a sportsbook, a 550-room hotel with resort amenities, and a 25,000-square-foot multi-purpose Event Center designed for high-profile entertainment and conventions.
Additionally, the venue will offer 30,000 square feet of dining and entertainment options, including renowned concepts such as Sports & Social, PBR Cowboy Bar, Luk Fu, and a fine-dining steakhouse.
