A video has emerged on social media showing a brawl at Grand Villa Casino Hotel & Conference Centre in Burnaby, British Columbia. The casino has been reopened for two weeks after being closed for almost a year and a half.

The RCMP of Burnaby is investigating last week's physical confrontation at the gaming hotspot. At least five people were involved in the fight, including casino staff members who tried to break it up. The incident happened on July 8 at around midnight. A man was treated for minor injuries. The RCMP suspect alcohol consumption to be a factor in this fight.

Siobhan Barker accused Grand Villa Casino Burnaby of racially profiling her. She filed a human rights complaint against the company in 2020.
