Gateway Casinos & Entertainment presented its overview plans for mobility and accessibility features that will be implemented in its new casino in the City of Delta. The company's casino complex is currently under development and it will name Cascades Casino Delta, and the accessibility measures were presented to the city advisory committee.
Gateway Casino & Entertainment made a presentation to the city's Mobility and Accessibility Committee. The company highlighted new accessibility features that will be implemented in the new Cascades Casino Delta. It will implement lessons learned from its Grand Villaproperty in Burnaby and recommendations and guidelines provided by the World Health Organization. The property will come with wheelchair-accessible bathroom stalls, trained first aid attendants on every shift, and wheelchair wide spacing between slot machines.
Hotel operator for Cascades Casino Delta has been announced. The name of the hospitality venue will be A Delta by Marriott Hotel. It will have five-story hotel with meeting spaces that can accommodate 116-120 people.
The company removed over 45 trees to begin the construction of the soon-to-be gaming facility. The project will come with 225 new ones, which is a 5:1 increase.
