Design Works Gaming was founded in 2005 in Scottsdale, Arizona. It started as a land-based game provider for Vegas. The company has since expanded internationally and built games for Novomatic, Amatic and others. Last year it entered the real-money gaming market in Europe with launches with some of the biggest names in the UK. Troy Zurawski is launching a new game studio in New Jersey. The company has a different story to the other game developers. Its game design team has 150 years of combined experience. For the New York launch, they selected 33 titles from a cross-section of high performers from land, social and European RMG.
Scientific Games has signed a three-year agreement with GameStop. GameSpot has been working with Scientific Games for many years. Scientific Game's OpenGaming platform allows GameSpend to analyze and iterate on its games.
Design Works Gaming is launching in New Jersey with a first-of-its-kind dual pilot program. They are also planning launches in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Ontario.
