Station Casinos has received approval from Clark County officials to build a 211-room hotel and gaming hall at the Station Casino Durango in the southwestern suburbs of Las Vegas. The company purchased the site 20 years ago with the intention of building a modest casino.

Clark County Commission gave Station Casinos permission to begin construction of a new casino for the Nevada community of Spring Valley as early as January. The first phase of the venue will offer 20,000 sq ft of meeting and convention space, a sportsbook, pool and a parking garage, water features, four restaurants and multiple charging stations for electric vehicles.

Station Casinos received approval from the five-member Spring Valley Town Advisory Board to build the 216-feet tall structure. The finished development is to come complete with an ‘event lawn’ and a food hall featuring a selection of local fast-casual restaurants.
