Shorelines Casino Peterborough Stern about Face Masks Policy
Ontario saw the official reopening of 11 casinos this Monday. Shorelines Casino Peterborough refused a player his dying wish to gamble on its premises. The casinos are allowed to reopen with all safety and health protocols intact including face masks at all times.
Ronald and Robert Reynolds were denied access to the Peterborough casino because they were wearing a face mask. They have a chronic lung condition that makes it difficult to breathe. They were at the casino for the first time in almost seven months. The venue has a maximum capacity of 50 people at all times.
Robert Reynolds and Ronald Reynolds are fighting the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation over their right to gamble at Shorelines Casino Peterborough. They claim that the casino staff denied them access because they refused to put on a face mask. The public health agency says respiratory diseases are not exempt from wearing a mask indoors.
