Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is already facing disciplinary action for not ensuring its patrons followed COVID-19 regulations on its opening night in March.
Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has agreed to pay a $60,000 fine for violating COVID-19 health and safety procedures on the night of its launch. The Nevada Gaming Control Board filed a complaint against Mohegans Sun in April.

Deputy Attorney General John Michela said Mohegen violated Regulation 5 for its “failure to exercise discretion and sound judgment to prevent incidents which might reflect on the repute of the state of Nevada and act as a detriment to the development of industry”
Mohegan Sun Casino in Vegas accepted a $60,000 fine for violating regulations. The incident involved celebrities wearing masks and walking through the casino without adhering to social distancing rules. Mohegans CEO Pineault took full responsibility for the violations. He was recommended for a Nevada gaming license. Gaming commissioners will rule on the matter on June 24.
