Penn National opens career center to start hiring at Hollywood Casino Morgantown
enn National Gaming has opened its new Hollywood Casino Morgantown career center in Pennsylvania, announced the company on Tuesday, and expects to create approximately several hundred new jobs as the casino is set to open by the end of the year.
The company is accepting applications for an approximate total of 375 new positions at Hollywood Casino Morgantown. The career center is located at the Holiday Inn Morgantown at 6170 Morgantown Road, Berks County, Pennsylvania, and Penn National has also announced it will be hosting a number of Table Games Dealer School Open House hiring events over the next two weeks there.
The gambling venue is expected to open by the end of the year, pending customary regulatory approvals. “We are thrilled to begin accepting applications for our newest property from residents of Berks, Lancaster, and Montgomery counties, and other neighboring communities,” said Erin Chamberlin, Senior Vice President of Regional Operations for Penn National.
The career center will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with operating hours expected to expand in the near future. Positions to fill include casino operations, food and beverage, security and surveillance, human resources, marketing and more. The company promises competitive pay, benefits and up to $1,500 in sign-on bonuses for new team members.
Full and part-time opportunities will be available, and same-day employment offers will be made to qualified applicants. The Table Games Dealer School is free of charge for those who accept employment offers from the company, pending regulatory approval.
“Whether candidates prefer being at the center of it all or working behind the scenes, there will be a role for everyone at Hollywood Casino Morgantown,” added Chamberlin. Interested candidates can learn more or apply both in person at the career center or online at Penn National’s website.
The Hollywood Casino Morgantown development has represented an overall investment of about $111 million. The roughly 80,000 square foot facility is set to feature approximately 750 slot machines and 30 tables games as well as a Barstool Sportsbook and race book, plus food and beverage options.
