Lottery officials launch hunt for winner after prize worth $376,754 goes unclaimed

LOTTERY players have been warned to check their tickets as a huge prize has remained unclaimed.

Officials in Rhode Island revealed a prize worth $376,754 is up for grabs when the winning player steps forward.

The unknown winner purchased a Wild Money ticket that won the jackpot on February 27.

The lucky ticket was bought at an Island Food Mart store at 356 West Main Road in Middletown, around 30 miles south of Providence, according to a lottery.

Although the winner is unknown, the numbers on the ticket are known.

The player matched all five numbers drawn which were 2, 5, 15, 31, and 32.

According to Rhode Island Lottery rules, the winner has one year from the draw date to claim their prize.

This winner will have to go to Cranston, Rhode Island, as winners of prizes over $600 must go to the lottery’s headquarters to claim their money.

Wild Money is a progressive jackpot game, therefore the amount increases each drawn until there is a winner.

The biggest-ever jackpot in Wild Money history was worth $763,383 in October 2022, according to the Rhode Island Lottery.

Lottery players across the country have been warned to check their tickets as more prizes remain unclaimed.

A Powerball player is sitting on a $50,000 slip as a ticket sold in Lewes, a small coastal town in Delaware, remains unclaimed.

The lucky slip was purchased at a Wawa convenience store and its numbers were drawn on September 29.

This player has one year from the drawn date to come forward and claim their money before it expires.

Another lucky lottery player in Arkansas struck a huge $1 million prize but that person has not come forward yet.

This Powerball player purchased their slip at a Flash Market in Forrest City, around 90 miles east of Little Rock.
