Las Vegas Advisor: New $500M hotel-casino project receives approval
The $500 million Dream Las Vegas Hotel-Casino has been approved. The project is planned to have 20 stories and 500 rooms. It will be completed in 2024.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority sold 10 acres along the north Strip where the old Riviera used to stand. The parcel was used in the giant convention center expansion and was purchased by the biggest casino operator in Central and South America. It plans to build a new resort there.
Celine Dion has postponed the opening of her new show at Resorts World due to medical issues. Tickets are being refunded.
A new thrill ride is coming to AREA15 parking lot. It will last seven minutes and cost $18. There will be a drink-and-ride package. Sound level on slot machines does not affect the payout percentage.
