Kindred's Efforts to Reduce Gambling Problems Pay Off
Kindred Group's efforts to reduce problem gambling are paying off. In the second quarter of 2021, 4.3% of the total revenue Kindred saw came from "harmful gambling". In first quarter, harmful gambling was responsible for 3.9% of total revenues.
Kindred reports improvements in the sector. The interventions figure rose by 0.03% between the first and second quarter. Kindred's CEO Henrik Tjärnström believes KindRed is effective towards making the gambling market more sustainable. In 2020, Kind red made 55,000 phone calls to help players understand gambling better.
