Kindred Group reveals slight increase in harmful gambling revenues

Kindred Group plc's revenue share from harmful gambling increased by a small amount in the second quarter of this year. The company is working towards a zero percentage in this category by the end of 2023.
Kindred reports its harmful gambling revenue percentage each quarter. Kindred wants to create a more sustainable gambling market. In the fourth quarter of 2020, Kinded reported a 4.3% revenue total from high-risk players. The improvement effect after interventions came in at 75.7%. In first quarter this year, the revenue share was 3.9%, a nice decrease, while the interventions percentage increased to 76.6%. For the most recent quarter, revenue shares were up again, but the improvement after intervention effect continued to rise.

Kindred Group is set to buy Relax Gaming Limited. Kindred has been an investor in Relax since 2013. Relax is a casino games developer based in Malta. The new arrangement will see Kind red paying €80 million for the remaining stake in the company.
