Kirk Higgins of Barrie is $250,000 richer after winning with Instant Jackpot (Game #2326).
Higgins, 59, says he plays the lottery once a week.
“I bought this ticket on a whim," he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
He scanned his ticket on the OLG App when he discovered his big win.
“It took a while to sink in. Once the feeling settles in, it feels nice.”
“This win is an eye opener,” Higgins said.
He plans to invest and save for retirement.
