Club One Casino May Face Delay with Reopening at Its New Site
Club One Casino plans to re-open at its new location in Granite Park. The reopening may be delayed due to a local council issue.
Club One Casino in Fresno, California was forced to close for 17 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The owner, Kyle Kirkland, plans to relocate the venue to an area formerly used as a nightclub in Granite Park. Club One will be able to bring back its employees and generate more than $100,000 in tax revenue for the city monthly.
Club One Casino's owner met with the local Council to receive approval for the move. The reopening of the venue may be delayed by a month. Council member Tyler Maxwell has been receiving calls from concerned residents. There are also concerns about the schools located near the new location. The vote for approval of new site was postponed until August 19.
