Main Street Station Casino Vegas to Reopen September 8
Boyd Gaming’s Main Street Station Casino in downtown Las Vegas will reopen for business on September 8, 540 days after it closed its doors because of COVID-19.
Boyd Gaming’s Main Street Station casino in downtown Las Vegas will reopen its doors to gambling visitors on September 8 at 6 am. It will be the first time in 540 days that the casino property will open its door since it closed because of pandemic restrictions in March 2020.
Main Street Station Casino Vegas will reopen on September 8. The Victorian-themed hotel-casino has almost 27,000 square feet of gaming space and over 400 hotel rooms. It also has more than 2,500 square ft of event and meeting space.
Main Street Station Casino Vegas will reopen on September 8th. All three of Boyd Gaming's downtown Las Vegas casinos will be open for business. University of Nevada, Las Las Vegas hospitality professor Amanda Belarmino welcomes the news. She hopes travel will continue to rebound.
Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall on the Boulder Highway is seeing good business. Main Street Station's second property, Eastside Cannery Casino Hotel, is not ready to open yet. Hawaii tourists are a big customer base for Main Stations. Some other casino companies have kept properties shut in the region. Station Casinos has three facilities that have not yet reopened since March 2020.
