Cascades Casino Delta Finds a Hotel Operator

Gateway Casino & Entertainment has reached an agreement with a hotel operator for the hospitality facility in the soon-to-be casino complex. A Delta by Marriott Hotel will be a part of the project next to the interchange of highways 99 and 17A. The Delta casino site will include a 40,000-square-foot gaming floor with up to 600 slot machines and over 30 gaming tables.
The Gateway Casino & Entertainment and Marriott Hotels are working together to build a five-story hotel facility in Delta. The project is expected to cost CA$87 million and is already underway. It will offer meeting spaces with 116-120 rooms and trade-mark brands Match Eatery & Public House and Atlas Steak + Fish Restaurant. The plan for the Delta location was approved by the BCLC three years ago, but the Ministry of Transportation did not give its go-ahead until 2019.
The number of trees at the location is 507. The gaming company removed 45 trees to start the construction of Cascades Casino Delta. Over 225 new ones will be planted to replace the ones removed.
