Betfred ordered to pay £1.7 million blackjack prize
Andy Green won a $2.3 million jackpot in Frankie Dettori’s Magic Seven Blackjack game on Betfred.com. He had extended his overdraft and spent the money on celebrating with his friends and family.
Betfred refused to honor the prize because the game had malfunctioned. The representative said there was a software error and the win was invalidated.
