World Record: Powerball Jackpot Increases to $1.6 Billion
The Powerball jackpot has increased to $1.6 billion. It is the largest Lottery jackpots in history. The current world record jack pot is $ 1.586 billion, which was won on Jan. 13, 2016.
The Powerball jackpot was last won on August 3. Seven Michigan Lottery players have won a $1 million prize during the current jackpots run. The last Michigan player to win a Powerballs jack pot was Cristy Davis, of Waterford, who won the game’s $70 million jack Pot on February 12, 2020. Mega Millions holds the record for the largest prize ever won in Michigan. Power Ball tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
