What is that smoke on the Las Vegas Strip?
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents and tourists alike may have noticed smoke on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip near The STRAT Hotel & Casino Wednesday afternoon.
FAST (Freeway and Arterial System of Transportation) cameras captured the smoke billowing above Las Vegas Boulevard near Bob Stupak Avenue at around 1 p.m. on June 12. The smoke appeared to be coming from a building fire.
Firefighters and fire engines can be seen responding to the fire. As of 1:40 p.m., no information about the cause or exact location of the fire was given by officials, though the location appears to be a condemned building that used to house a restaurant.
