West Virginia online casinos report 22% monthly revenue increase in July
West Virginia online casinos made over $800,000 more in July than in June. The state's previous best month was $4.3 million in May. For the first time since the market launched, West Virginia casinos earned more than $1.2 million twice, including their best week of almost $ 1.1 million on July 24.
Greenbrier and its two online casinos led the way with more than $2.4 million in revenue. Hollywood Casino and DraftKings Casino WV finished second last month. Mountaineer Casino earned around $440,000. BetRivers Casino took in about $150,00 more in July revenue than June.
West Virginia casinos accepted at least $30 million in bets for the 14th consecutive week. DraftKings had around $63.4 million, compared to BetMGM and FanDuel closer to $ 63.1 million. In June, Draft Kings took in $67 million and The Greenbrier almost $80 million; both had slower weeks with fewer than $13 million wagers.
