The West Virginia online casino industry experienced a resurgence in May 2024, following a record-breaking March that saw approximately $20.68 million in revenue. According to the West Virginia Lottery, online casinos in the state generated $17.9 million in May, marking a slight 0.007% increase compared to April.

Despite the modest growth, May 2024 stands as the second-highest month for online casino revenue in the state's history, only behind March. Leading the charge was Hollywood Charles Town, affiliated with DraftKings Casino WV, which posted $7.4 million in revenue. Close behind was Greenbrier, home to BetMGM and FanDuel, with $6.4 million.
