Tropicana Las Vegas hosting second phase of public liquidation sale
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Tropicana Las Vegas will host a public liquidation sale this weekend featuring thousands of items from the hotel, ranging from signs to a baby grand piano.
International Content Liquidations, Inc. of the same will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $20 per person each day, and the sale will take place on the main casino floor of the Tropicana for adults 18 and older.
Items must be removed the same day as purchase, according to the listing, and people are advised to wear hard-soled shoes.
New inventory for the weekend includes Tropicana signs, pool chase lounges, stacking chairs, Christmas trees and ornaments, new boxed towels, and the baby grand piano.
Other items that might still be available include guest room furniture, flat-screen televisions, restaurant equipment, dining sets, bedroom material, and pool and patio furnishings. The liquidation website states that many items might already be sold out or no longer available.
All items are priced and sold on an "as is" basis, and buyers will be responsible for removing their purchase.
Tropicana closed its doors in April after nearly 67 years of operations on the Las Vegas Strip. Executives with the casino's operator, Bally's Corp., say they expect to begin demolishing the property in October.
