The first EuroMillions lottery draw took place on February 13, 2004. UK, France and Spain were the only countries eligible to participate. Play was extended to Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland later that year. Players pay £2.50 to pick five main numbers between 1 and 50 and two Lucky Stars numbers from 1 to 12. The Euromillions can be played twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:45 pm. The first Thunderball draw was held on June 12, 1999. Players can enter this lottery for £1 and can pick five main numbers between 1 and 39 and one Thunder ball between 1 to 14. The draws are held four times a week, Tuesday and Friday (8pm), Wednesday and Saturday ( 8:15pm) and on Tuesday (9pm). If a player matches all five numbers and the Thunder Ball, they win the jackpot of £500,000.
Set for Life is a game set up in March 2019. It offers a jackpot of £10,000 every month for 30 years if the winner matches all six numbers. The odds of winning the jackpots are 1 in 15,339,390.
