Pyrmont Man Wakes Up To Division One Win
A Pyrmont man says he felt like he was dreaming when he received a phone call this morning with the news he was last night’s Lotto Strike division one winner.
The New South Wales player held the only division one winning entry in Lotto Strike draw 5003, drawn Wednesday 4 August 2021 and takes home the entire division one prize of $165,041.35.
This morning an official from The Lott contacted the man, who hadn’t yet checked his online entry.
“Thank you so much,” he said.
“That’s amazing! I am elated.
“It’s been a really, really tough time with this lockdown, so this is really nice news.
“This couldn’t have come at a better time. I am so happy.
“I feel like I am dreaming. It’s very hard to comprehend.
“I’ll find a way to celebrate in lockdown!”
With a division one prize about to land in his bank account, the Sydney man said he’d spend his time in lockdown making plans.
“This will be life-changing in a big way,” he declared.
“I am not sure exactly what I will do with my prize, but it will certainly go very far.”
The thrilled player purchased his winning entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 5003 on Wednesday 4 August 2021 were 3, 20, 2 and 32.
Lotto Strike is an add-on game played with Saturday Lotto and Monday & Wednesday Lotto. Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four numbers in the exact order they are drawn during the Lotto draw.
If no one picks all four winning numbers in the draw in same order drawn, the Lotto Strike Jackpot prize pool will jackpot for the next draw.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 275 so far this calendar year, including 78 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
