The news of a $100,000 win in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw has sent a Cowandilla man straight to The Lott’s head office to claim his prize, declaring he’ll be clocking off early to celebrate.

The South Australian man won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10594, drawn Monday 20 June 2022.

The Western Adelaide resident is the 100th Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize winner for 2022.

Straight after the draw concluded, the man happened to check his entry on The Lott app and was left floored by the revelation.

“I can’t believe it. How cool!” he chuckled.

“I bought the ticket last week, and I wondered if it had been drawn. So, I opened The Lott app, and it was a coincidence that it had just been drawn. It’s great!

“I went straight to The Lott head office in Marleston to claim it – I didn’t think twice!

“I can’t wait to tell some of my family later today. They won’t believe it.

“I’m also the 100th winner in Lucky Lotteries for this year? That’s pretty cool!

“I’ll probably have an early finish today to process it all and decide what to do with the prize. It’s not every day that you win a lottery prize!”

The South Australian’s winning entry was purchased at Cowandilla Newsagency, 108 Bagot Avenue, Cowandilla. It’s the second major prize winning ticket to be sold from Cowandilla Newsagency this month.

Cowandilla Newsagency owner Bryant Gong said the winning news was a wonderful way to start the new working week.

“We’re all so happy and excited for the 1st Prize winner. As soon as we found out, we burst into cheers!” he shared.

“I’ll be sharing this fantastic news with all my customers and no doubt, we will celebrate with champagne and chocolate.

“We  sold a division one winning entry in Saturday X Lotto earlier this month – the winning streak continues!

“Thank you to all of our customers for supporting our business and an enormous congratulations to our 1st Prize winner!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $11.33 million for draw 1578, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $16.27 million for draw 10596.

In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May.
