Powerball lottery jackpot hits $630M: Ticket cost, cutoff time to buy
There are just hours left to get a chance at winning hundreds of millions of dollars.
The Powerball prize has been growing for nearly three months and has reached $630 million Wednesday afternoon, with a potential cash payout of $448.4 million.
It's the seventh largest jackpot in Powerball history, according to the Powerball website.
Tickets are available to purchase for Wednesday's drawing until 9:45 p.m.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, rather slim but stranger things have happened.
Tickets are $2 and can be purchased online or in person. To win the jackpot, players must match the numbers on all five white balls and red ball.
Drawings take place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:59 p.m. Powerball tickets can be purchased online here.
