To play at a retail location, you can ask a cashier for a play slip or find one in a container attached to the lottery machine onsite. Fill the play slip out with your numbers, then run it through the machine or return it to the cashier to generate your ticket. You’ll get a physical receipt with your numbers on it.
If you win with a physical ticket, be sure to sign it as soon as you win. This will make claiming the prize much easier.
