Ocean Casino Resort’s $85m Development Almost Complete

Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City will complete its $85m worth of property development in time for the summer. It includes the opening of 460 renovated hotel suites and rooms, a new gambling area and numerous new restaurants and bars.
The development work is nearly complete. The new hotel suites and rooms will become available from July 1. Gallery Bar, Book & Games will open at the beginning of July. It will feature a 100-foot elevated lounge and bar. Serendipity3, Starbucks, and Sole Mates are also coming to the development.
The Ocean Casino Resort will offer 1,400 hotel rooms, 135,000 square feet of gaming space, over 1.700 slot machines, more than 120 gaming tables, convention and meeting space and dining options. The property has changed hands numerous times in recent years. Luxor Capital Group sold half of its stake in October to Ilitch Holdings.
