LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A part of Las Vegas history is ready to light up.

The Palms Casino Resort revealed its newly restored sign at The Neon Museum on Wednesday.

The relighting also included a panel describing the history, presence, and impact of Nevada’s first peoples in celebration of Native American Heritage Month.

The San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority marked history in 2021 by becoming the first Native American tribe to wholly own and operate a casino resort in Las Vegas with the purchase of Palms Casino Resort.

The iconic billboard marks the 24th sign re-illuminated and restored within the Museum’s Neon Boneyard.
